It was indeed a perfect day to be born…it was the day Carter joined us! That makes it the perfect day to me. 🙂 I can already tell how much precious life is just from a couple of days with this new little person. I have long since looked forward to all I have to offer him in terms of wisdom, but now I know it’s a two way street. And he’s only days old!

Oh Wiles, you and Carter will have much fun in the coming years. As a child, our dog was my BFF as you will be to Carter and that friendship still holds a special honored place in my heart. You are just the right fit! Enjoy every special, wonderful moment as they go by quickly! And sleep when Carter sleeps ~ it’s really true! xo

I cross 3 of my paws for your mom and with the fourth I hold your paw, brother. My mom always wished she would be born on this day, imagine, you have every year a firework on your birthday, that’s great!
Mom wanted me to tell you that she saw this message early in labor and it made her smile. I know nothing about contractions but from what I’ve heard they are quite painful, so every little smile helped pave the way to a happier mom. Thank you for being part of our special day.

Aw, now that is so special! We love you guys too and are so happy to hear of Carter’s early arrival. See, he wanted to join your family early too! Wiley, you will always have lots of love from us! Did Carter finally make it home with you? I bet he has lots of wonderful nice smells too! He’s your little brother now, so you will have to make sure you protect him and give him lots of love and attention!
Indeed- Carter is now home with me and I am one happy camper about that. He does have lots of nice smells – I’ve been great at alerting my people when there’s a poopie diaper. Add that to the list of my jobs around the house and I’m practically a certified nanny. 😉
Now if only you could learn how to change those poopie diapers, that would be awesome! Glad to hear that Carter is home with all of you! You are officially a certified “Poopie Inspector”! 🙂
If only I could…that would be so nice since I hate it when Carter cries, and one of the only times he cries is when he’s on the changing table. Maybe if I did the diaper changing he wouldn’t cry so much. 😉

I honestly don’t think it’s fair that dogs can’t be their momma’s side during labor!!!! That would definitely be considered a therapy dog status ya know??!! Wiles…I am soooooo excited my friend….What a blessed way to start the new year…Love, hugs, and health to you and your growing family!!!
