Are you going into labor (I mean you you?) Either Always so beautiful to welcome a new soul into the world!! πŸ˜€

  2. Yay, Wiley! Soon you will be the best and fluffiest big brother ever! Prayers to Mom and all of you. Whoo-hoo!

    Love and licks,

  3. Big changes ahead dear Wiley – very exciting! Wish Mum well from us and we hope it is short πŸ˜‰

  4. Oh Wiley, how exciting! What a perfect day to be born! I am thinking of you and how your life is going to become even richer, more precious and happier filled with even more love than you can imagine! Big hugs to you precious pup!

    • Hi friend,
It was indeed a perfect day to be born…it was the day Carter joined us! That makes it the perfect day to me. πŸ™‚ I can already tell how much precious life is just from a couple of days with this new little person. I have long since looked forward to all I have to offer him in terms of wisdom, but now I know it’s a two way street. And he’s only days old!
      Lots of love,

      • Oh Wiles, you and Carter will have much fun in the coming years. As a child, our dog was my BFF as you will be to Carter and that friendship still holds a special honored place in my heart. You are just the right fit! Enjoy every special, wonderful moment as they go by quickly! And sleep when Carter sleeps ~ it’s really true! xo

      • I love hearing stories where people and their puppies are best friends forever. Success stories confirm my dreams may just come true. πŸ™‚
        Lots of love,

      • Wiles, your dreams will definitely come true. xo

      • Really? You think so? Sometimes I doubt this…and I have to remind myself to stay positive. Any tips for me on this? πŸ™‚

      • Oh Wiles, we all get a few moments when we could be more positive, but the fact remains that you are able to find and give joy from the ground up which means that even if you lose your way for a bit, your path is always there! Yes, your dreams come true when you create the life that you choose to come to fruition! You’re a smart pup ~ just keep wagging on! xo

      • Hi friend,
What a beautiful way to illuminate my heart – your words are true and something to blog about to be sure. Joy from the ground up is real. And it lights the path even when it seems unclear. I will indeed keep wagging on – it sure is easy with people like you in my life.
        Lots of love,

      • Awww Wiles, now I’m blushing. πŸ™‚ Big hugs to you and your beautiful forever family. We are blessed, aren’t we?β™₯

      • Indeed we are. πŸ™‚

How wonderful… will it be a 2013 or 2014 baby…. wishing her all the best for an easy birth. Will be thinking of your mum, dad and you Wiles…… be patient!

    • Hi friend,
He was a 2013 baby, but I heard mom talking today about how special she felt to have folks like you all over the world wishing her well. It wasn’t an easy birth by far, but it was uncomplicated and ended with the happiest ending of all.
      Lots of love,

  6. I cross 3 of my paws for your mom and with the fourth I hold your paw, brother. My mom always wished she would be born on this day, imagine, you have every year a firework on your birthday, that’s great!

    • Mom wanted me to tell you that she saw this message early in labor and it made her smile. I know nothing about contractions but from what I’ve heard they are quite painful, so every little smile helped pave the way to a happier mom. Thank you for being part of our special day.
      Lots of love,

  7. Wooooohooooo! So excited for you and your family Wiley! May the baby ring in a wonderful New year! Ku’s Mama

  8. Sandy Says:

What a way to start the new year! I’ll be thinking of all of you today and hoping all goes well (and quickly). Hang in there Wiley – the new baby smells are coming very soon : )

    • Thank you Sandy.
Apparently mom was spying on the blog while she was in labor – something about it being a good distraction. She remembers the moment she got your comment. It made her smile. Thanks for that!
      Lots of love,

  9. kiwiskan Says:

looking forward to hearing news of your little new year baby… Blessings

  10. Nikitaland Says:

    • Hello all of Nikitaland,
You guys have become like family. Yours was the last comment mom saw before Carter came into the world. Thank you for being part of our special day.
      Lots of love,

      • Nikitaland Says:

Aw, now that is so special! We love you guys too and are so happy to hear of Carter’s early arrival. See, he wanted to join your family early too! We love him already, and we really love love love his name! I am glad that Mom could take with her the love that I was sending before she went into the hospital! That was so sweet! Lots of hugs, Val

      • Mom and I did have a feeling he would come early…I love it since it tells me he didn’t want to wait to meet us either. Thanks again for your support. And especially for your love!!!

      • Nikitaland Says:

Wiley, you will always have lots of love from us! Did Carter finally make it home with you? I bet he has lots of wonderful nice smells too! He’s your little brother now, so you will have to make sure you protect him and give him lots of love and attention!

      • Indeed- Carter is now home with me and I am one happy camper about that. He does have lots of nice smells – I’ve been great at alerting my people when there’s a poopie diaper. Add that to the list of my jobs around the house and I’m practically a certified nanny. πŸ˜‰

      • Nikitaland Says:

Now if only you could learn how to change those poopie diapers, that would be awesome! Glad to hear that Carter is home with all of you! You are officially a certified “Poopie Inspector”! πŸ™‚

      • If only I could…that would be so nice since I hate it when Carter cries, and one of the only times he cries is when he’s on the changing table. Maybe if I did the diaper changing he wouldn’t cry so much. πŸ˜‰

      • Nikitaland Says:

OMG, I just pictured YOU changing his diaper and laughed out loud! You standing on your back legs folding the diaper in it place….hee hee hee

      • OMG, now you’ve got me picturing it. What an image that is! I wonder if mom and I can stage such a thing. πŸ˜‰

      • Nikitaland Says:

Oh boy you could! Just have her velcro the ends of the diaper to your front paws!

      • Oh how funny! I may need to convince her to try this someday soon. πŸ˜‰

  11. Happy New Year and Congratulations!!

  12. huntmode Says:

Oh, I am both excited and breathing labor-style for your dear Mom, Wyles. I now understand why they used to show fathers pacing the floor. Fingers and toes crossed. Love to all of you. HuntMode

I honestly don’t think it’s fair that dogs can’t be their momma’s side during labor!!!! That would definitely be considered a therapy dog status ya know??!! Wiles…I am soooooo excited my friend….What a blessed way to start the new year…Love, hugs, and health to you and your growing family!!!
